The Commercial Truck Driving class covers MDOT compliance procedures, basic safety, hooking/unhooking trailers, pre/post-operational checks, maintaining service logs, and properly completing the DVIR. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be prepared for the CDL road test. Before enrolling, participants must have completed an MDOT physical, drug screen test, CDL permit and be 18 years old.
Commercial Truck Driving is offered at the Advanced Technology Center (weekends), Jones College Clarke County Center (weekends), Jones College Jasper County Center, and Jones College Wayne County Center (week day / weekends) as a non-credit program.
Commercial Truck Driving is offered at the Advanced Technology Center, Jones College Jasper County Center, and Jones College Wayne County Center as a credit, CTE program.
